About the event

When it comes to inclusion, neurodiversity refers to a world where neurological differences are recognised and respected as any other human variation. This includes people with differences like dyslexia, dyspraxia (DCD), dyscalculia, autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and many others. Approximately 15-20% of the population are neurodiverse.

Celebrating Neurodiversity Week’s mission is to embrace the positives of different minds by moving away from negative labels like ‘deficits’ and ‘disorders’. People with different minds may find things challenging that come more naturally to others, but that ability to think differently can also present lots of unique strengths!

Join us throughout Neurodiversity Celebration Week for this introductory webinar, aimed at those who wish to increase their understanding of neurodiversity, the various kinds of neurological differences and the strengths and challenges of each.

This is a free online event via Zoom.

This webinar is being delivered by members of Lexxic's Team throughout the week, who have a mixture of lived experience and professional expertise.

Audience: Open to all. Please note the content is suitable for children who are 12+

Please note that our events are not being recorded, to encourage our participants to speak openly about their personal stories and experiences.
