Caragh McMurtry

Caragh McMurtry is a former Olympic rower, diagnosed Autistic, and the co-founder of Neurodiverse Sport, the leading think tank championing neuroinclusion in sport. As a not-for-profit organisation, Neurodiverse Sport was founded to address the lack of understanding and tailored support for neurodivergent individuals across all levels of sport.

The organisation provides a platform for advocacy, education, and collaboration, ensuring that everyone involved in sport—athletes, coaches, supporters, and administrators—can benefit from more inclusive practices. Neurodiverse Sport works to develop effective, supportive approaches that enable neurodivergent individuals to thrive while contributing to the overall success and well-being of teams and communities.

It is Caragh’s belief that sport should be a place where no one feels isolated or held back by traditional standards. By fostering greater understanding and inclusion, Neurodiverse Sport is creating a culture where everyone, at every level of sport, can reach their full potential and feel truly supported.
