Neurodiversity- Words Matter; On Anti-Ableist, Strengths-based Language

Student Experience with AuDHD

Navigating university as an AuDHD student can be particularly complex. Support strategies may vary in effectiveness from day to day, even hour to hour, highlighting the importance of personalised understanding. During summer 2024, Laidlaw Scholar Juliette Cabraja worked with the Trinity Disability Service through the Inclusive Internship Programme, exploring existing research alongside the lived experiences of Trinity students.


In this seminar, Juliette will present her findings, joined by Jennifer O’Connor, Disability and Employability Officer, who will share student narratives to help staff better support AuDHD learners and ensure students are aware of the supports available throughout their university journey.
